Covenant Anglican Church, ACNA, San Marcos, Texas

Since July 10th, 2016, we’ve been meeting as a congregation to worship the Lord in Word and Sacrament. We are a church plant, arising out of the Always Forward initiative, which is dedicated to planting churches throughout North America. Covenant Anglican is a member of the International Diocese, as well as the Anglican Church in North America (ACNA).

… I remain an Anglican out of conviction that here is the right place, for here I possess the truest, wisest and potentially richest heritage in all Christendom.
— J. I. Packer, The Thirty-Nine Articles: Their Place and Use Today

Covenant anglican church is:

Scriptural - We affirm the primacy and final authority of the Bible, which is the divinely inspired (2 Tim. 3:16) and infallible Word of God.

Christological - We proclaim the supremacy of Christ Jesus our Lord, who is the image of the invisible God (Col. 1:15-20) and the climax of redemptive history.

Creedal - We acknowledge and teach the sound doctrine of the ecumenical Christian creeds.

Confessional - We adhere to the Thirty-Nine Articles of Religion, the (16th-c.) Reformed confession of the Church of England.

Liturgical - We worship in a historical and sacramental manner that exalts the truth, holiness, and majesty of God, utilizing the Book of Common Prayer (BCP) as our liturgical guide.

Missional - We are committed to fulfilling the Great Commandment and Great Commission (Matt. 22:35-40; 28:16-20).

Communal - We are in communion with the Anglican Church in North America (ACNA), as well as millions of faithful Anglicans throughout the world.
