Digesting the Faith: Catechism with Application

Sunday School for adults and youth for the 2018-19 school year will be Digesting the Faith, a series of interactive workshops on applying Christian doctrine to shape our own attitudes and actions. This class will serve as preparation for those wishing to be confirmed as Anglicans in the spring. We encourage those who have already been confirmed (and those not seeking confirmation) to participate as well, because digesting and applying doctrine is an ongoing process for all Christians.

Adults as well as youth of middle-school age or higher are encouraged to participate; youth and adults will sometimes do separate activities during a class session.

The class will be based on To Be A Christian, the official ACNA catechism. Participants are encouraged to read it during the course of the year. It is available for download at To Be a Christian: An Anglican Catechism (the hard-copy version is prohibitively expensive on Amazon, probably because a new edition is in the works).

This class will meet every other week on Sunday mornings from 9:35 to 10:10.  Classes began August 26th. Download a Class Schedule in PDF.
